the Arms above has been written in from the family linage

 

Otterspoor

 

Arms: in blue three double headed golden eagles

Crest: an outcoming silver horse between a closed blue flight

Cover: blue, lined with gold

 

These arms were from Aaron from Otterspoor in 1713, baptised Vreeswijk the 17th of april 1659,

grocer (groats mill), buried IJsselstein 26th february 1749, son of the male progenitor.

Registered on request from Henri Johan Theodoor Otterspoor, born and living The Hague the 4th of april 1944,

son of Pieter Willem Otterspoor and Hendrika Francina van Gladbach, for

all namebearing descendants from the male progenitor

Applicant is a descendant from Claes Jacobsz. Otterspoor, living in Vreeswijk (1657 - 1676). He

married Utrecht the 19th of August 1656 with Mechteld Jans from Doneweert.

kan duiden op verwantschap en dus het wapen in de stamreeks

The existance of 3 Seals with almost Identical arms from 1455 through about 1600 onto 1713/1727

could point at kinship and so a coat of arms in the line.

Dit wapen, de waarschijnlijke voorloper van ons familie wapen is de eerste met kleur en bewijst verder dat Willem Harmanszn van Otterspoor afstamt van Splinter Otterspoor

Otterspoer, Splinter was 'Schout' van Jutphaas in 1454/55. and Overeind of Jutphaas 1456, 1468.
