Sometimes people express a disdain for the material world. Somehow they have grown to believe that the spiritual world is the place to be. Planet Earth is such a horrible place to be because of all these bad people and what they do to our planet and the animals. It is truly terrible and there we are, we wise souls, who are willing to let go of our heavenliness to descend into this swamp of matter to help those who have fallen so low.
I don't like the above kind of thinking. If people express disdain for the physical aspects of reality then I start becoming careful, because it seems that much of the current chaos in the world is a result of non-physical beings wanting to suck as much energy as possible out of the physical world in order to sustain their non-physical realms. Perhaps take a look at Heaven to read more about this disdain for the physical from the non-physical.
So, I think it is important to grow out of this disdain for physicality, for it seems that in order to ascend you need your physical body. Without a physical body there will be no ascension. The physical body seems to harbor a lot of genetic information about karmic encounters, which are very crucial to be released in order to ascend your biology. A disdain for the physical plains therefore speaks of these dynamics in my point of view. When people continue to express such a disdain I prefer not to talk to them any longer.
