A PHYSICAL PERSPECTIVE
As a person who is quite familiar with this physical life it is no wonder that the concept of biological ascension is fascinating. Isn't it very appealing to just imagine the possibility that it would be possible to 'upgrade' your biology allowing for all kinds of new characteristics? Not only would you clear a lot of distorted thought form from you and many of your ancestors along the way, but you would also have a chance at living longer in a healthier condition.
Who wouldn't want to be more balanced and feel more joy in ones life together with a new sense of meaning? It also allows for the recollection of ancient memories from your ancestors, and it opens vistas to explore the non-physical or less physical aspects of life. To ascend biologically is not only useful for yourself, your ancestors, your offspring but it is also useful for the Tao and Earth. It would be an excellent way to increase your awareness of the part you play in the grand scheme of things.
So, from the physical perspective there are many arguments to support the biological ascension process. There are however more realms that would be connected to our realms: what would they think of the biological ascension process? This page tries to imagine what certain 'factions' may think about this idea of biological ascension.
AN ASTRAL PERSPECTIVE
As you may have noticed I have begun exploring the astral planes in the last couple of articles (see links on top of this page). I mentioned the Monroe Bands and how everybody who dies would head for one of these bands, depending on the modes of thinking of those concerned. For example if you are a true believer in any religion you are likely to go to a band that fits your expectations.
If you have taken the time to read some of the chapters in the War In Heaven-(WiH)book, you can get the impression that certain members of these astral planes called Theocrats especially enjoy the presence of many religious believers who don't think twice about giving away their sovereignty in order to worship their god. They were trained to believe that obedience to god's will is more important than understanding the difference between right and wrong (see Chapter 11: Theocratic Bands).
Not only would these astral theocrats enjoy the presence of these believers, but they would use their presence in order to take much of their chi, which makes it possible for these Theocrats to survive in these astral vibrations. For now I tend to hold on to this mode of thinking, for it matches much of the chi-draining practices of the false gods as they are mentioned in the SSOA-literature. There is a dependence from the astral on the physical, or within the astral from other astral beings in order to continue its existence.
Both the SSoA and WiH speak of the necessity to reincarnate in order to keep the process going. Reincarnation from the SSoA-perspective would have been some unexpected by-product when distortion got too big. The 'normal' mode of learning would be to live a life and then ascend the body near the end, merging soul and body into one. Because too much distortion arose during a single life time, it was no longer possible to balance out all themes in one life, leading to the necessity to be reborn again to fix the things left unattended in the previous life.
There would have been no need for any soul to spend a lot of time in some astral in-between-world for it was the body that was needed to learn and correct things from a previous life. The soul would remember all things from previous lives, making it easier to correct things, or to put it in other terms, to clear the karma or the (slightly) distorted thought forms. Then after a few lives the ascension of the last physical body would again be possible because there would be no distortion left in the genetics. After the merger of the physical and non-physical they would 'both' enter another realm, dimension or density: leaving both the physical and the astral realm behind, because there is not need for any of them anymore.
Looking at the astral planes from this perspective, it is no surprise that certain forces who have lived in the astral world for ages are not too thrilled with the idea that any process might endanger their world. If the biological ascension process leads to a further clearing of the D.N.A., it eventually may lead to this fusion of body and soul. This would have a few consequences for those theocrats and others who prefer the astral condition to the physical one:
Perhaps the theocrats can be persuaded to support biological ascension if they understood that they might have a chance to fuse with a body eventually as well, reaching another realm in which conditions might be different. There might not be the need to take off another's chi in order to sustain ones existence.
A HIGHER SELF PERSPECTIVE
In Part of Two Groups I write about the possible existence of a Higher Self, a kind of group consciousness that exists of various souls that have had various experiences throughout all times. As soon as they would have gathered enough experience and understanding they would collect all parts of their group and then move out of the Earth realm altogether, heading for the exploration other dimensions, densities and worlds.
What would they have to gain by supporting and investing in biological ascension? Not much, really, I suppose. They see the physical body as merely a kind of 'diving suit' that you wear in order to live out experiences in our 3D-world. When you have gathered enough information, experience and understanding, you just leave the suit behind and you move on. Why would you invest in upgrading a diving suit that you only temporarily use?
In a way you could say that these higher selves that evolve by living lives on Earth are using humanity and Earth to improve themselves without giving much in return. This is perhaps put a bit too strongly, for they provide humanity with souls who are connected to experienced higher selves who can contribute their knowledge to humanity at large. But that is more a by-product, then it is their goal.
The way these higher selves work looks a lot like someone who is trying to ascend in the physical. By learning from and transmuting the thought forms with which their mind and genes resonate they grow and eventually take along with them those parts that once were in various states of distortion. The main difference is that those who are ascending include the physical and the higher selves in general don't.
If there would truly be an inhalation of the Tao going on, then both these higher selves and the physical realms are all part of the same process. If they would realize that they belong to the same creation they might consider taking up responsibility for this creation and work out ways to fix the distortions that have been carved in the genetics of humanity, for if they are able to fix that they help the process of which they are part as well. If they just move out and continue their play somewhere else they might run away from their responsibility: perhaps that game has been played long enough. It is time to clean up the mess.
Even if they cannot be persuaded with this argument they might consider another argument: if people get a better 'driving suit' they would be less likely to think distorted thoughts for many of the causes of these thoughts would have been removed because of the ascension process. It would lead to less astral activity in the lower Monroe Bands and more people would speed through these lower Monroe Bands, which makes it easier for them to be collected before they can move out of the system altogether. They probable have more than enough people who think distorted thoughts who are caught in the lower Monroe Bands, so they probably won't need too many more of them to fill their desire for experience diversity.
CONCLUSION
If biological ascension truly exists it is likely that we shouldn't expect too much assistance from the astral planes or the higher selves, for they are probably either afraid of the process or not interested in it. I think there is a lot of work to be done to get a better understanding of both these astral planes and the thought forms of those soul groups that we call higher selves, and perhaps they have a lot to learn from us.
