INTRODUCTION
This page tries to open up to different ways of dealing with ascension in which terms like 'creativity', 'consciousness' and 'playfulness' play a more important role than within my current understanding of the SSoA-approach.
THOUGHT WITHDRAWAL
Within the field of psychiatry there is a term called 'thought withdrawal' which is seen as one of the symptoms associated with schizophrenia. In a Wikipedia-stub we can read:
In psychiatry, thought withdrawal (or thought extraction) is the delusion that thoughts have been 'taken out' of the patient's mind. It often accompanies thought blocking. The patient may experience a break in the flow of their thoughts believing that the missing thoughts have been withdrawn from their mind by some outside agency. This delusion is one of Schneider's first rank symptoms for schizophrenia.

I consider this a nice introduction for what I experienced last night ;-) I was lying in bed rather early, thinking about ascension, the SSoa, dreams, the interaction between unconscious processes and conscious ones when gradually a new idea took shape within my imagination.
I went on expanding upon this idea and I liked it. After a while I decided to get up and see how a download of a cartoon for my daughter was doing. I sat behind my computer and all of a sudden I was completely unable to get back the idea that I had just been thinking about for more than a hour! No matter how I tried I couldn't tune into that vibration again.
After some fifteen minutes I went back to bed and even in the bedroom I was unable to get my thoughts back on top of that idea. I knew some elements of the idea, but somehow my mind seemed blocked. I was amazed: what on Earth was going on?
PARANOIA?
So, here's another psychiatric term to express the thoughts that emerged when I noticed the sheer inability to reconnect to that nice line of thoughts I had had before. Within the ascension paradigm there are many etheric enemies that would take chi/information from your system at various vibratory levels.
Another element within my current reality is that thoughts are essential: they are the building blocks of my reality. When I combined these two ideas I opened up to the possibility that perhaps somehow I was tuning into certain thought-forms that could create a new reality perspective with a higher vibration. This would allow my mind to resonate at a certain level that might be undesirable for certain etheric beings.
This ascension paradigm can sure make one completely crazy, or not? Anyway, I was determined to get back to the original thoughts and I only managed to get a hold on them when I woke up the next morning. So perhaps some people are not too happy with these ideas, but it could also have been nothing but a sign of the difficulty of new thoughts settling in a certain reality-perspective.
BELIEF AND TRUST
Right from the beginning I have had trouble with the aspect within the ascension paradigm that states that you are mostly unable to understand what is really going on at higher vibratory bands. You can intend all kinds of intentions, but you can never be sure what exactly is going on. Our bodies often simply vibrate at too low a level to develop a true understanding. We can pendulum and muscle test, but this is also based on trust that those who 'push and pull' the pendulum are the ones that they say they are.
You can say: "I intend to connect with Earth Mother" and then you could ask a number of questions, but how can you be sure you are actually connecting to the Earth? By asking another question through the pendulum? That is like asking the 'devil' whether he is honest.
Although the information given through Mila often strongly resonates with me it often remains a matter of believing her words. Can we be sure that she is not manipulated in some way? When I hear the way things seem to go within the core of the SSoA as far as 'believing' is concerned, it makes me wonder if we aren't believing a bit too much here.
Aren't we silently feeding thought-forms that state: "I do not really know, I need others to tell me what is really going on?" - "At my current level of initiation I am not able to understand what is going on at higher vibratory levels, I need to have trust in what is going on at those levels."
It's like putting your trust in something outside of your current awareness, whether it is your light body, Mila's messages, or whatever it is that moves around in your unconscious. Wouldn't there be a way to become sovereign without the necessity to believe and have trust in all kinds of matters that you cannot verify? Couldn't we develop a path that allows for more awareness? Aren't we giving much of our powers away by accepting a reality-system which states that we are utterly unconscious? What if we would start working from a paradigm which allows for a more sovereign and powerful level of awareness, not completely dependent on a myriad of unknown outside factors? Aren't we feeding these outside forces by granting them so much power?
CREATIVITY AND PLAYFULNESS
I have touched upon this topic before (see for example Gibbon in the Sky with Diamonds) and I would like to elaborate on it now. I think the SSOA-paradigm is very useful indeed, but can also have its limiting effects on our own creativity. Because of the vastness of the material we might be tempted to think: "Whatever I can think of is nothing but a mere shadow of the grandness and splendor of Mila's messages". Ofcourse this was never Mila's intention, but I think these thoughts are aroused by quite a few people.
The material might hamper the free sprouting of our own creative impulses. Why shouldn't we create our own ascension temples? Why should we not try and develop a nice dance floor with special opening hours for certain etheric folk? Why should we not create a dreamtime university in which we ask for information balls (just like the ones from Monroe's books?) that are comprehensible for our own awareness?
Why not play with an ancestor in the backyard of your mind? Why not imagine how we time-warp into some anu-episode? Perhaps we can develop some kind of imaginary GPS-tracking devise to find people who have stimulating new thoughts which open you up to new perspectives? Let's have fun and don't get too caught up in fear of unconscious attacks and dangerous karma releases.
TEMPORARY CONCLUSION
Within the ascension paradigm we can trace an unconscious side-effect, namely the idea that we are never really able to understand what is really going on. We are always open to attacks from dozens of etheric predators we cannot see or hear. Karma bursts are around every corner and potentially in every contact you have. You are unable to solidly verify many of the items within the paradigm which paves the way for belief and trust in someone who does have the ability to tune into those vibratory bands that you are unable to reach.
This creates a rather unsettling condition which might silence your own creativity and stir up a lot of fear, fed by a belief that you are actually assisting the ascension of mankind. I am not saying that this is a false belief, but I am trying to point out that perhaps we could create alternative routes to assist humanity in reconnecting with its past and clearing up the chaos that was formed.
I would like to contribute to a mode of ascending that has more room for sovereign creativity, playfulness and that doesn't rely that much on everything that we don't know consciously. Let's find ways to creatively chop information into pieces that we ARE able to grasp. Don't easily accept the explantion: "It is not for you to understand at your current vibratory stage". It reminds me of the church who preferred to hold on to Latin even though the common folk didn't understand much of it.
I really think we are able to understand much more if we believe that we are able to do so.
