Exploring Ascension, Reiki Shambhala and Ascensions

INTRODUCTION
Recently I have met a woman who is not only into Reiki but also into Shambhala Reiki. She occasionally gives Reiki courses and she sometimes uses Reiki to assist others in their healing processes. When we started to talk about Reiki I couldn't help but express the SSOA-ascension perspective. This page tries to sum up the way Reiki is regarded within the ascension paradigm and I would like to spend a few thoughts on the advanced Reiki energy that is called Shambhala and the possible connection with 'ascended' master St. Germaine.

REIKI AND ASCENSION
In 1999 I was initiated in Reiki I during a weekend. During that weekend the backgrounds of Reiki were explained, as were the ways you can assist in healing others by placing your hands on various parts of the body. After these initiations you would already be able to give the energy to others. You can receive more advanced initations and receive the second Reiki degree and finally you can become a Reiki Master who is able to initiate others as well.

Reiki was mentioned in Mila's older articles. Let's hear what she had to say about the Reiki energy in 2002 channeling Earth Mother and Tao:

Reiki is useful to those who are ascending to 1800 or resting at 1800. Reiki triggers certain key codes that will cause ascension amongst those who utilize it. It is therefore a useful tool for the ascent to 1800, and useful for those who rest at 1800 to remain in balance. After 1800, Reiki becomes less useful as one is bridging into a magnetic thought-form known as the Language of Light. (See Language of Light section for more information.)

One may utilize however the same modality of moving energy with Reiki substituting the symbols of the Language of Light in their place in working with those pushing beyond 1800 strands. However Reiki is not a requirement to ascend; energy moves with one’s thoughts, and therefore one may simply call the Language of Light symbols into the field allowing them to dissipate the density one is releasing without the use of such treatments. The point of ascension is to become sovereign in one’s own ability to move the energy in one’s own field, as energy that stagnates leads to disease. One therefore must become more and more talented at moving the energy through one’s field over time in order to build an ascending field and form.

Those resting at 1800 may continue to be comforted and resonate with the channeling and materials of the Ascended Masters. There is no right or wrong; all truths are valid. Those who resonate with a particular truth do so because there is a magnetic attraction within the field. Those who do not resonate with the Ascended Master teachings are generally destined to ascend beyond 1800 to 3000 or 6000 strands, and will leave such things behind as they no longer serve or no longer feel good or supportive. Therefore do not judge beloved; allow all others their life choices and allow yourself yours.

In the introduction to the Language of One, in 2004, Reiki is again mentioned. Let's read this before we start reflecting a bit on what is being said:

...Some have brought through such languages and their associated symbols, one of which is known as Reikii. Reikii is a Tibetan Root Race language. Each of such languages is useful in the ascent to 1024-1800 strands, but not beyond this.

The reasons for this is that one will find straight lines and edges in all symbols of most languages that humanity has relied upon following the fall of the Anu some 30,000 years ago (120,000 years as humans define them). Straight lined energy flow or sacred geometry will only ascend one so far. So this is also so for Earth.

Over time each of the key codes from the Great Central Sun captured by the aurora and held straight lined geometry was ultimately discarded as the rotation of such patterns did not foster the continued ascension of Earth. So this is also so for each species upon Earth. Each has learned over time through trial and error that it is only rotational magnetic patterns that foster the increasing rise in vibration of Earth, otherwise known as “global warming” as well as global ascension. Therefore these are the only languages at this time retained upon Earth.

SHAMBHALA REIKI AND THE LINK TO THE ASCENDED MASTERS
One of the elements that attracted me to the SSOA-paradigm was the idea that the ascended masters weren't really that ascended, nor that divine (see link on top of page for more backgrounds on this). During her ascension process her level of awareness would have risen and in her first stages she encountered the ascended masters, but she noticed they couldn't help her grow beyond a certain point, probably 1800 as described within SSOA-terminology.

As we could conclude from the quotes above, Reiki would be useful to those reaching for the 1800-vibration and those resting at that stage. I talked about this to my girl friend and she was familiar with the idea that Reiki doesn't really match the rising vibrations of our planet. In a way it would be slightly old fashioned and not completely up to date with the current vibrations.

A new reiki level was introduced in 1998 and it was called Shambhala Reiki. If Reiki would be a 50 W lamp, Shambhala Reiki would be 500 watts lamp. My girl friend was initiated with this advanced level of Reiki as well and she preferred to use this vibration when helping others.

A few days later I started to search on the internet about Shambhala Reiki to see if there were any possible connections to the level of the ascended masters, in order to see if the SSOA-paradigm would make any sense and I was quite surprised (or perhaps shocked) to read the following on a Shambhala Healing site:

The art of laying on of hands is as old as the hills. People have been doing it since the beginning of time. It is a natural instinct to put your hands on somebody who has been injured or is not well. Mothers are one example of this. When a child is hurt mothers often out their hands on the injured spot. Human touch conveys healing care and love. This energy is known by many names. Chi in China, Prana in India, Ruach by the Hebrews and Reiki by the Japanese.

In 1998 an amazing new energy was brought to this world from St. Germaine (the source of Reiki) through a master teacher: Hari Das Melchizedek. Because of all the work people on earth have been doing to raise their frequencies, St. Germaine was able to send this very high vibration through to us.

Shambhala is the energy of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, which comes through your heart chakra to help you heal yourself and others. The healing abilities you acquire when you are taught Shambhala are only a by-product. The major purpose of these activations and initiations is your own personal evolution and self empowerment through LOVE of self and ALL. It is a way of facilitating wholeness and freedom. An attunement into Shambhala connects you with your I AM presence and it connects you with the Shambhala City of Light and the collective consciousness of all the Ascended Masters.

Perhaps I was brainwashed a bit too much by the SSOA to try and disconnect as much as possible to anything having to do with the Ascended Masters, which explains my growing distrust for both Reiki and Shambhala Reiki, especially the final words gave me the creeps: 'and it connects you...to the collective consciousness of all the Ascended Masters', AAargh!

I was able to verify the link to the ascended masters on various other pages on the internet. For me it is reason enough to intend the removal of my reiki initiations from my field. They might have suited me well in reaching 1800 but I think they may inhibit my further growth and I prefer not to receive any reiki or shambhala reiki healings within my field. Perhaps see the angular forms connected to the shamballa Healing at Christopher Penczak's site which seen from an ascension perspective implies 'angular thoughtform'

ALTERNATIVE FOR REIKI
Many of us would still be far below the 1800 vibration and for those the Reiki energy can still be very useful and the Shambhala energies could even assist them in reaching higher levels of awareness a bit faster. For those aspiring to reach above 1800 it might be better to disconnect from Reiki altogether and tune into something different.

As I have suggested in Dancing with Symbols I am not inclined to replace the Reiki symbols with 'Language of Light' or 'Language of One' symbols, for I see that as putting faith in something that might not be trusted as well. It sounds like some kind of external technique.

For now I would prefer to focus my continued attention on the identification of distorted/harmful thoughtforms or thoughtforms that no longer resonate and I believe that symbols are simply automatically attracted to fields with which they resonate, allowing the field to hold these symbols in order to sustain the energy.

In other words: the key thing is to create a body/field that contains as many harmless thoughts as possible, removing harmful thoughts one by one. I believe this can be done by intentions and by paying attention to the thoughts that prop up: write about them, talk about them with others and see how the body reacts to it. For me it makes sense to think that the resonating symbols - whatever their nature may be - may simply enter your field in order to support it.

I wouldn't want to do away with the act of laying hands on people, but instead of linking it to the 'collective consciousness of all of the Ascended Masters' I would intend the activation of the higher self-energies of the person concerned. Perhaps we can be creative and think of ways to be a temporary conduit for the higher self energies of the person concerned. By using the (higher) energy of the person himself it is less likely that we connect to the draining energies of the Ascended Masters.

Perhaps we can try and tune into the body level consciousness, or the etheric layers and get a grasp of what is needed.
