Image transformations

Many transformations can be applied to images, such as: Images can be dropped on the drawing surface from the OS/2 File Manager or loaded via the file dialog. In addition, drag-and-drop is supported for fonts and colors. DrawIt accepts dropped colors and fonts both from the system palettes as well as from the palettes supplied with the installation.

All objects, like splines, text, circles, etc. can have different filling patterns:

All objects can be rotated around a moveable center with a precision of one degree.

.

Block text

Text columns can be created on the fly, by typing into a multi-line edit field. Each block text object has the following attributes: .

Arrowheads

Line endings are fully editable. DrawIt offers support for all arrowheads as are available in UML (Unified Modeling Language).

.

Point editing

Every object can be edited after it has been created. Stretching, moving and copying are all possible. A remarkable option on splines, polylines, squares and circles is the possibility to edit all points separately. With polylines and splines it is possible to add or remove individual points. Or delete points even while creating a spline.

.

Layers

DrawIt gives you up to 10 separate drawing layers. You can step through the layers and inspect the objects belonging to each of them. Inactive layers can be locked.

.

Printing

Printing is supported for any printer which is supported by the OS. Full as well as draft printing is possible.
